Careful work on watches that matter to you
siamchra is a specialist workshop on Si Lom Road. We open movements under controlled conditions, work with calibre-appropriate materials, and return each piece with a written account of what was done.
What we do
Three services, clearly described
Each service is scoped carefully so that owners understand exactly what will happen before any work begins.
Diagnostic & Condition Report
The technician opens the caseback, inspects the movement under magnification, photographs key components, and produces a written report. No work is carried out without your separate agreement.
- Written assessment you keep
- Photographs of key components
- Options explained clearly
Full Service — Modern Automatics
Complete servicing for modern automatic watches across Japanese, Swiss, and German calibres. Includes disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, lubrication with calibre-appropriate materials, gasket replacement, regulation, and pressure testing.
- 3–4 weeks in workshop
- Performance summary included
- Pressure tested after service
Complication Recalibration
For chronograph, GMT, annual calendar, or moonphase complications showing inaccuracy. The technician traces the issue, recalibrates the relevant subsystem, and verifies the result over a multi-day observation cycle.
- Multi-day observation cycle
- Approved spares where needed
- Performance report included
Why siamchra
How this workshop operates
Written reports, not verbal summaries
Every service produces a document that describes what was found, what was done, and the measured results. You receive this alongside the watch.
Work under controlled conditions
Movements are opened in a clean workshop environment. Inspection uses calibrated magnification and photographic documentation before any intervention.
Separate approval before any work
The diagnostic report is issued first. Work only proceeds after you review findings and confirm. There is no assumption of consent.
Calibre-appropriate lubricants
Lubrication choices follow manufacturer technical specifications for each calibre. Not one standard lubricant applied across all movements.
Fixed address in Silom
The workshop is at a permanent address on Si Lom Road. You can visit, discuss the piece, and collect in person. No courier-only arrangement.
Pressure testing after case closure
Water resistance is verified before the watch is returned. This applies to full service work where the case is opened during the process.
